We had a really relaxing stay, with a spacious, very clean room and a breathtaking view of Ella's nature. There are about 150 stairs down to the room, which is the one drawback. The reception staff carried our luggage themselves, though, and that made the climb much easier. I'd happily stay here again on another trip to Sri Lanka, and I recommend it.

The view was stunning, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived in Ella around 9 am even though check-in was at noon, and they let me in early and helped arrange a bike. The uncle who helped with our bags was really kind. I booked one night at first, then stayed for two. When I changed rooms they gave me around 40% off, and the new room was great too. There are a few stairs, but the view makes them worth it. After checkout they kept our bags and let us use a washroom to freshen up after our Ella tour before heading home. Such thoughtful people, and I was very comfortable there 💯

We had a lovely time at Viewfront Ella. The hotel has its own parking, which was great since we were traveling by car. The owner and staff were kind and pleasant, and breakfast was delicious. Thanks, Thuwan.

The room has a stunning view and the place was very clean. The host was lovely and helpful. Getting there means walking down about 200 meters of stairs, but for me the view was absolutely worth it. Recommended.

The room had an incredible view, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The hot water and shower were quite good too, and the quality felt like great value. There is some hiking up the hill to the entrance, then steps down to the room. The staff were really helpful with carrying my luggage down, and I thought it was all worth it.
