Meadow Villa

We especially enjoyed the pool, and our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Meadow Villa is beautiful and well located. It was a wonderful 5 star stay, and we’ll definitely come back.

Hasitha was a great host. He replied quickly to messages and calls and arranged everything without hesitation. The place is close enough to Galle Town but still quiet and private. The only interruption was the cutest cat coming to ask for food or treats, which we didn’t mind at all since we always carry cat treats. The garden is large, with all sorts of birds and the famous peacock. A bonfire picnic and BBQ there would be nice. The pool is small, but clean and well maintained, and having coffee and snacks in it was lovely. The room was huge and very clean, with a nice antique looking bed. The attached bathroom was also large and clean, and the AC worked well, unlike in some places. There’s a huge living room with a big sofa, and the wifi was pretty fast. The kitchen has a refrigerator, washing machine, gas stove, cutlery, and crockery, plus a cloth dryer and stand fan. It’s a fabulous spot for a quiet, private vacation. Dadalla Beach is beautiful and uncrowded, and easy to get to on foot or by tuktuk. The private pool was so refreshing after days out exploring, and having a washing machine at the house was useful. We loved our three weeks at Luxe Wing. The house was well maintained, comfortable, private, and affordable. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, with public transport an easy walk away for trips to places like Galle Fort, Unawatuna, and Hikkaduwa. Host Hashita also helped arrange a whale watching tour and an elephant safari in Udawalawe Park.

Lovely jungle view from the pool, and the villa, grounds, pool, owner, and breakfast were all perfect. Highly recommend for couples. You do need a bike to get there, it’s 5 minutes from the beach.
