The meals were fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, and the staff made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. They were friendly, professional, and always happy to help. There’s plenty to take in here, so one night didn’t feel like enough. I’d recommend staying longer to enjoy the food, service, and relaxed atmosphere.

We came back after a year and a half and were so glad we did. The location is great for sightseeing, with lovely amenities, good food, and a welcoming team. The tea is one of the memories I’ll keep: a fresh cup of Ceylon tea grown in the surrounding hills, with mist moving through the valley. It tasted rich and comforting. From our room, green tea fields disappeared into white clouds, and mornings brought rain and birdsong. The staff made us feel at home from the start, and their kindness, the cozy atmosphere, and the good food made the stay special. Mandaram Nuwara felt like a peaceful world in the clouds, where time slowed down and the air felt clean. I left with a calm mind and a full heart. It’s a lovely escape for people who enjoy nature, tea, and quiet.

The road in is rural and a little difficult, but the place is worth the trip. The surroundings are wonderfully clean and unspoiled, with lots of waterfalls to play in. The hotel facilities and staff were great, thoughtful, and supportive, and the food was really good. Five stars hardly feels like enough.
