The Frangipani Tree by Edwards Collection

We stayed for four nights last year while visiting family, and it was just the quiet break my husband and I wanted to reconnect and enjoy time together. There were hardly any other guests, so no crowds or noise, just a peaceful stay. The staff were the best part: warm, welcoming, friendly, and ready to help whenever we needed something. We were very happy with the value and are looking forward to coming back.

I loved ending the evening with dinner at the restaurant and a few cocktails at the bar downstairs. The beach in front is beautiful and lined with palms, though the sea was rough while we were there, so we used the pool more. Our room was huge, and falling asleep and waking up to the waves outside was lovely. I also really enjoyed a bath while listening to the ocean. From arrival, The Frangipani Tree felt warm and laid-back, and the welcome necklaces made with real frangipani flowers were a thoughtful touch. It's a stylish, welcoming place to unwind by Sri Lanka's coast.

Choosing Frangipani for our honeymoon was the best decision. The care from the staff, from the service team and room attendants to the chefs and security guards, made it feel like home away from home. They were polite, respectful, helpful with all our needs, and greeted us with a pleasant smile. The location and amenities felt worth the price, and we're still enjoying the memories after the trip. Can't wait to return!

We loved the food, especially the seafood platter with its local touch: creamy garlic sauce and spicy kochchi sauce. Breakfast was beautifully presented too, and dinner was memorable. The sea breeze, setting, and thoughtful details made it easy to slow down and relax.
