I found this budget-friendly guest house at the last minute during a long weekend, when almost every hotel was booked. It's in a calm, peaceful area, and they also provide air-conditioned rooms. We stayed there on our last trip to Jaffna.

I wouldn't call them trustworthy. They rejected our booking at the last minute when we arrived to check in at 8 pm, and they didn't answer the phone for a long time.

The rooms are small and not very comfortable, with limited ventilation. Still, the price makes it worthwhile.

The customer service was really poor. HB Guest house is one of the worst guest houses I've ever seen, and I wouldn't recommend it.

We booked two bedrooms, but neither was kept up well. The bathrooms were dirty too, and the floors were sticky and unclean. I can't recommend it. 😒
