The beach is only about a five-minute walk away, and we were delighted by a sea trip arranged directly with the owner. We got to see dolphins, and were also lucky enough to spot whales and turtles. The owners' kindness and smiles, along with the place itself, will stay with us. The family took great care of us and gave us a very warm welcome. The food was very good too. Our room was pleasant and had what we needed for a comfortable stay: a fan, mosquito net, and both types of electrical outlets used in Sri Lanka. We can only recommend Eco Tropical Resort during a visit to Kalpitiya. Many thanks, and we wish them all the best.

There are lots of excursions and activities to choose from, and it was so relaxing to stroll along the quiet beach and take in a breathtaking sunset. Sleeping in a cabana made by local people was an awesome experience. It's a creative, much-needed idea for modern life.
