We came by car and couldn’t find anywhere to park, which was difficult since the property is in the university area. We ended up leaving before check-in, so I can’t comment on the rooms or anything else.

Everything listed was there, including AC, hot water, and the other amenities, and it was good value for a night. The room’s old, broken furniture and worn walls do bring down its appearance, though.

A safe, lovely spot, and the service was excellent.

The caretaker uncle kept everything neat and was always cheerful and professional. We also had delicious local food at a very reasonable price, made to suit what we liked. Owner Nalin was friendly and ready to help whenever we needed him. I’d picked the place at random for two nights with my family, and it turned out better than I expected. Such a peaceful, green setting. We’d love to return, and I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys nature and a bit of freedom.

It’s a quiet, peaceful place with reasonable prices, and the caretaker is around. Sarasavi Uyana railway station, the botanical garden, and Peradeniya university are all very close. Breakfast wasn’t great, and there’s no restaurant on site, but you can order food from places like KFC.
