The rooms were spacious and clean, and the place had a peaceful feel. We especially enjoyed the homemade food. Our hosts welcomed us warmly, shared stories and local tips, and made us feel like family. Those personal touches made the stay unforgettable. Aunty Kanthi made us feel like part of her family, with warmth and care throughout our stay. She paid close attention to what we needed and went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of. Resident View Homestay offers a genuine homestay experience in Kandy, and I highly recommend it for a memorable stay.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was included, with dinner available for an extra charge. I also liked being able to use the upstairs lounge and roof terrace. It’s a modern, spacious house on the outskirts of Kandy, so you’ll need transport to get to the sights. My room was spotless, with AC, a balcony, and a modern bathroom, though it was quite small. The portable air conditioner was also very noisy.
