The family were kind and helpful, and even let me leave some luggage there while I spent 11 days at a meditation centre. They also did my laundry for a reasonable price. The place is very clean and quiet, with a fantastic bed and good breakfast. It’s a little outside the busy, noisy centre, but the lake is an easy 15-minute walk or 5 minutes by tuktuk. Perfect for a Kandy stay, I’d say.

I’ve visited six or seven times as a local and have never been disappointed. The service is friendly, the people are great, and it’s a lovely place to spend time with your loved ones. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and the rooms are roomy enough for a longer stay. The prices are affordable, and breakfast is fine for the budget. There’s a friendly driver available for tuk transport, and it’s easy to get to Kandy city, local restaurants, and supermarkets. Highly recommend.

Rest for guest is about 10 minutes from Kandy city center, and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were always available and gave us good advice for planning our journey, which helped make the trip a great experience.

We were three guys, and the rooms were absolutely worth the price. The layout was simple and neat, and each room had its own bathroom. The owner was really kind and helpful, and can give you travel guides. It’s easy to reach, just 700m from Kandy railway station. I’d recommend it to locals and foreigners looking for a place to try in Kandy. Nothing to complain about, 100% perfect for a short rental.

The owners gave us such a warm welcome at this established guest house. It’s conveniently placed for a short walk down the hill to Kandy, and the room was perfect. We’d love to come back.
