The room was dark, with too little light, and it was dirty and moldy. The bathroom wasn't clean either, and the bedcover and pillows smelled bad and were dirty. The ceiling fan didn't work properly, and there weren't any amenities in the room. We had to ask for a towel, and the one they gave us was smelly too. There were mosquitoes, but they wouldn't provide a net when we asked.

We arrived late at night and had to put up with the place for 6-7 hours, but the whole property was horrible. Garbage filled the rooms and common areas, the bins were overflowing, and the rooms smelled awful. Even the water container held dirty water with insects in it. I wouldn't recommend it. 🤮🤮

We'd been staying there on our Kandy trips since 2012, but after our last visit we decided we won't return. The room hadn't been cleaned, and the bedsheet and pillow covers hadn't been changed. The toilet seat was broken, and there wasn't even soap. We had to ask and remind them for those things. Even after paying the advance, we had to call again and again to get confirmation. Nobody answered or called back. The owner lady acted as if we'd come to stay for free and had forgotten how to smile. It was a horrible, unwelcoming experience. Never again.

A calm place for a family stay, in a good Kandy location, with reasonably priced private rooms and parking. We could walk to KCC in about five minutes. The owners were friendly and helpful, and when we asked, they arranged a tuk.
