Sonali and Lasantha made the week with their hospitality. Her cooking is exquisite, and the two of them made us feel completely at home. The villa is beautiful, and Lesley was helpful before we arrived and met us there to show us how everything worked. The garden is magnificent and full of wildlife, including monkeys and monitor lizards. The design is exceptional, with incredible views across lake Koggala. It’s a stunning part of Sri Lanka, and I hope we can return before too long.

Sonali’s food is a real gem, with flavors that are unique and extraordinary. She and her husband give the place its soul through their warmth and kindness. The villa sits in breathtaking scenery, and every detail feels carefully considered and perfectly maintained. I wholeheartedly recommend it! ❤️

We spent plenty of time relaxing beside the pool, and also went out to explore the nearby beaches. They were beautiful and easy to reach. Sonali’s cooking deserves a special mention; it added so much to our stay and is a must-try. The villa is in a stunning natural setting, with peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views. Sonali and her husband welcomed us so warmly from the start and made us feel at home. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and would definitely love to come back one day.

Lakeview Villa in Ahangama has a lovely atmosphere and beautiful surroundings, with wonderful hosts. Sonali prepared food for our group that was the most delicious we ate during our whole trip to Sri Lanka. Truly unforgettable!

Sonali and her husband Lasantha looked after everything, from breakfast through dinner, and were caretakers anyone would be lucky to have. I hope to come back soon! We had the best days of our trip at Leslie's place. The villa is tucked away beside the lake and cinnamon orchards, surrounded by beautiful nature. It’s clear it was built to be lived in: the appliances and facilities all worked well, were thoughtfully planned, and had a lovely design. It’s hard to find words for a place this wonderful.
