Soluna Beach Resort

Our room had a beautiful view of the pool and sea, which made the stay feel special. Soluna Beach Hotel is in a quiet spot, just right for a relaxing break. The service was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Many thanks to Suranga and Jeewan for being so kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

I always come back to this hotel, and stayed there with my family a week ago. I love the place and its staff. I came here planning to write a review, but was shocked by the previous review and how it described the hotel as dirty. Please don't write things that could mislead people. My husband runs several hotels around the world, and even he is impressed by this hotel's location and hospitality. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the hospitality has always been excellent when I've visited with my children. We've had Ayurvedic treatments and yoga, and they created rare Sri Lankan gemstones for us. They've also taken us on safaris, to Sigiriya Rock and to various historic World Heritage sites. The hospitality moves me every time and makes every trip memorable, no matter how often we return. Countries, cultures, weather, surroundings and values differ, but the previous review seems like a complete lie. I'm shocked that anyone would call such a wonderful place dirty.

The ocean view from our room was lovely. After a long flight, this was just the place to relax for two days before heading out to discover the island. The staff were extremely kind, and treated us to ice cream, coconut and other little things.

The staff were kind, but the place was nothing like the advertisement. The bathroom was dirty, the apartment was run down, and there was no restaurant. The setting wasn't nice either; the photos show one side but leave out the trash site next to the apartment. We saw the place and decided to leave. It wasn't worth the price, and no further services were provided. There was also nobody who spoke English well enough.
