Grand Rockland Hotel

The room had a calm, elegant feel that made dinner with family or friends relaxing. The staff were warm when we arrived, then stayed attentive, polite, and professional all evening, checking that we were happy with everything. Our food was fresh, full of flavor, nicely presented, and arrived on time. Every dish was delicious. Great food and such thoughtful service made the dinner memorable.

The rooms are comfortable and a good deal for the low price, and the bathrooms are clean. Staff were very nice and polite. There are a couple of drawbacks: the hot water can run out, and the lower-ground rooms could use refurbishing because they’re dusty and have fungus. If there’s an event at the venue, the noise can also be an issue when you want some quiet.

Yesterday’s farewell party for our bank officer was arranged beautifully, and the service was good. The food was really tasty too. Many thanks to the manager, Mr. Malith. We only spoke over the phone, but everything turned out lovely.

The building is unusual, and the decor is pretty weird, but it’s very affordable. What makes the place are the staff, who were so warm, kind, and accommodating. A great venue for events.
