Mr Vijitha, the steward, really is the heart and soul of La Félicita. His kindness and care for the place and its guests stood out. The manager and his wife also welcomed us so pleasantly on our first day, and we’re grateful to them. The heritage house felt just like home, with peaceful rooms close to nature and a beautifully maintained garden. It was a serene place to rest away from the busy beach areas. We’ll return many times in the future 🙏

We spent a month in the family room and had such a lovely stay. The hotel is quiet, has a beautiful garden, and sits near lots of good restaurants. Wijitha made the month even more memorable. He’s the most lovable person, and our two kids still talk about him and miss him ❤️

I expected to stay one night, but liked it so much I stayed for two. My first-floor room was huge and really clean. The place is very central, with a famous Mirissa restaurant less than 100 meters away. The host was super kind and helpful. The room had a bed net, a proper shower with hot water, a hairdryer, and even a bidet. Water pressure was a bit weak, but we are in Sri Lanka! Breakfast was a really nice continental spread with fruit too.

The owner made our stay at Hotel La Felicita so lovely. He was kind and accommodating, and we enjoyed chatting with him every day. His breakfast was delicious too. After checking out, we arranged a ride with him to our next stop near Yala. It was a great drive, with plenty of stops at food stalls along the way to try local fruit and other things. Thank you for everything!
