The beach and plenty of restaurants are close enough to reach on foot. We stayed one night before flying home, and the staff made us feel welcome. Our room was spacious and airy, with a view over the street. In the morning they gave us a Sri Lankan breakfast at no extra cost, even though we had booked rooms only. A taxi to the airport was arranged through the tour company next door, at a very reasonable price.

They were very kind, and the place was really clean. We arrived around midnight after our flight, and they arranged the transfer smoothly. I do think the room could be made a little nicer. Thanks :)

I came away with one of my worst hotel experiences. We arrived around 1 AM and left at 4 AM, and the staff were unfriendly and unwilling to help. We were traveling with two tourists and asked if we could stay a little longer, but they flatly said no. They showed no concern for our comfort, and the lack of basic courtesy was shocking. I strongly wouldn't recommend this place.

We had booked a family room about a month ahead for the night of 04/10/2025, and I had also told them we'd arrive on 02/10/2025 as stated in the booking. When we drove there on 04/10/2025, nobody was there to greet us. A man who said he was the housekeeper eventually appeared. Asked where we could park, we were directed to a patch of ground with a cow tied there. The people occupying the family room said they were going to Colombo and that we could have the room around 4 pm. They offered a single room in the meantime. Traveling with children, I felt completely stuck. I asked around for other hotels and found somewhere else. Booking.com should remove places like this. Liars and cheats.

For the price, this place is great. The location is good, and the room had the essentials for a stay, including a shower, AC, and minibar. Special thanks to the host, who was welcoming, respectful, and helped me with every question or request.
