This was my first stay after arriving in Sri Lanka, and I couldn't have asked for a better welcome to a new country. Sampath and Ravi were amazing hosts. They made me feel so at home that leaving was hard. I loved it here.

The garden is a lovely place to unwind away from Negombo's bustle, and the Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious, with vegetables the host grows organically there. It's a bright, open hostel with a big green-walled garden and a balcony overlooking the sea. Though it's a little outside the centre, you can still get there quickly by tuktuk or even walk. We had a very pleasant stay.

We'd paid the deposit through hostel world, so it was a shock to find the hostel closed. Luckily, our taxi driver helped us find somewhere else. A neighbor said this was typical and had happened before. BIG NO!

Very good value, with a lovely, spacious, clean room and all the facilities we needed. The local breakfast was delicious and big enough for a family. We were very happy with our stay, and the main spots are within walking distance.
