The owners made us feel so welcome, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool, too. It’s just one street behind the main seaside road, with good restaurants and small shops only a couple of minutes’ walk away. Such a great place to stay.

The family who runs this place really made it for me, so lovely and gracious ❤️ It's also peaceful despite being close to everything, and the place is clean and well cared for.

Our child felt right at home in the inviting, spotless pool, and the hosts were always warm and ready to help with questions. Breakfast was delicious, and there are plenty of nearby places to eat, with both local and international food. They also arranged an airport transfer that made getting in and leaving easy. We had a wonderful family stay in Negombo and would happily return. The accommodation worked perfectly for us.

The location was fine, close to the beach, and they did let us leave after one night and pay for just that night instead of the three we had booked. That flexibility was the only reason I'd give this hotel even one star. We'd rented the family apartment, and it was dirty when we arrived. The surfaces felt sticky, the fridge was dirty, there was hair on the floor, and the towels were stained and not properly clean. One had already been used. The mosquito nets were full of holes and unusable, and the bed sheets were only about 1m x 1m, far too small to cover us. There were huge cockroaches in our room. The pool looked cloudy and dirty, so we didn't dare get in, and the pool loungers were broken. We left after one night instead of staying the three nights we booked. I really don't understand the good ratings.

The owners were great, and we enjoyed our two-night stay. The pool was clean, and the location made it easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. I'd recommend it.
