This is a small, family-run business, and it was lovely to support a local place. We stayed one night after landing in Sri Lanka. The room was tidy and clean, the bed comfortable, and there was a mosquito net. We asked the owner to make breakfast since we'd heard restaurants in Sri Lanka don't open early. He kindly put out a full spread: tea, roti, bread, banana, omelette, two small curries, and a lemon drink. There's a construction site next door, but it didn't bother us. They didn't start early, and it wasn't loud.

The family are truly lovely, friendly, and helpful, and we got a real taste of Sri Lankan hospitality 🩵 My room at Hotel Dorset was clean, comfortable, and private. The beach and lots of restaurants are only a few minutes' walk away, and it's really good value for money. I had a perfect stay and can't recommend it highly enough!

The staff are incredibly friendly and really want you to enjoy your stay. We ordered breakfast and got a delicious spread with fresh fruit, roti, and omelette. I'd recommend staying here.

The family who run this simple but nice hotel were super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They greeted us with fruit juice and made a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning. They also helped with our questions and any problems. The rooms are clean and have good AC, a mosquito net, and a fridge. The bathroom looked a little older, but the water was hot and the pressure was good. Good value for money.

Don and his family gave fantastic service and were so helpful and friendly. Don arranged an airport driver and another driver to my next location. The rooms are dark, clean, and quiet, with mosquito nets and aircon. I loved my stay here.
