We arrived very late on our first night in Sri Lanka, and our hosts stayed up to welcome us. The room was already ready with the a/c on. Everything was clean and spacious, the garden was lovely, and breakfast was fresh, delicious, and plentiful.

I've stayed at more than 30 places around Negombo, and this was the WORST one. I found it online and expected a nice place, but the photos may have been taken a long time ago. The room now felt like a slum. The person serving us was unpleasant and disrespectful, and the bathroom was especially stinky. There was no toilet paper or even a dustbin in the room. The price was far too high, which felt ridiculous. Just thinking about the place disgusts me. NO ONE should have to go through this. Owners need to take more responsibility for their service. VERY VERY disappointed.

The rooms were unclean, and the hotel's service was extremely poor. The owner, Ranga, was rude and arrogant. A horrifying experience, with no value for money. There are many better places in Negombo for less.

The garden is very clean, and the staff were wonderful. The place is easy to get around from, with lots of shops nearby, so finding lunch or dinner wasn't a problem. I ordered Domino pizza by phone, explained the way carefully, and it arrived tender! Mr.Rangea, the owner, Dushentha the chef, and Mhaeshe, Chamod, and Ravidu on staff, thank you all so much for your advice. I'll come again.

The people were really nice and eager to help, and they told me about lots of good places to see around the hotel. What I didn't like was that the younger boys who handled my booking details would find me on Facebook.
