Lovely view, but the property feels very old and needs renovation. It's hard to reach, and the rooms were too cold with no heaters.

The view beside a waterfall is lovely. The room was clean and okay, and the staff were friendly with good service. Prices seemed acceptable, though the food was average.

The lawn was tidy and a lovely place to unwind in the evenings, and the scenery was fantastic. Service was great too. They even serve hot water with the food, which helps in that temperature. We had an awesome stay.

The room itself was comfortable, but a strong paint smell greeted us and made me nauseous with a headache before bed. It was even worse in the morning. We were there for just one night, and dinner was poor, with no atmosphere in the dining room and not even an offer of dessert. They weren't prepared for us. The place has no licence, so only water was available with dinner. There were no communal areas to sit and have a drink, and no drinks available anyway. Disappointing on an otherwise fantastic trip to Sri Lanka.

The window looked out on a nice view, and the food was okay. But the bed sheets were dirty, and the shower had no hot water, even though we were the only guests.
