There’s a nice TV and sofa set, hot water in every bathroom, and the place has a lot going for it. But the cook and housekeeper, Raja, had a very bad attitude. He took and kept food and raw ingredients we’d handed over for him to cook, and served food straight from the cooking pot instead of on dishes. Please avoid him if you visit. The roads are badly damaged, and the place is at the top of a steep mountain road. Make sure your vehicle can manage the climb, since small vehicles can’t get up it. Still, everything else is very nice.

The place is clean and very good, with five rooms, each with an attached bathroom. The facilities were excellent overall, apart from the cook, Raja. He’s cunning, steals food, and serves guests considerably small portions.

Cleanliness wasn’t the best, and Browns could manage this place better. Raja is a food thief, so don’t give him money or food. He’ll steal both.

It’s a quiet place with clean rooms and low prices, not too far from Nuwara Eliya city. The hotel owner was friendly.
