Queens Mount Glen Heights

The rooms and washrooms were spacious, neat, and clean in this new building. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent, an easy walk from the center. The route on Maps can look confusing, but there’s a shorter, simpler way too. Getting up the steep entrance road with luggage can be hard. There’s no lift, so the stairs to the upper floors can get tiring, especially around the 4th or 5th floor. A few rugs and some wall art could also make the rooms feel cozier. Still, I was very comfortable here and would highly recommend the place.

The young staff were friendly and quick to help when we needed them, and the room was clean. The bathroom could have been cleaner, though, and we sometimes heard a lot of noise at night. Breakfast was the one thing I didn’t like. Otherwise, it worked well for our two nights exploring Nuwara Eliya. It’s a nice hotel up the hill behind some of the more luxury hotels.

We had a good stay, with clean, comfortable rooms that were well maintained. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were polite, friendly, and supportive whenever we needed anything. Breakfast was fresh, satisfying, and a nice start to the day. A larger name board outside would help people find the property. We and a few others got confused and had to look around. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We booked online after reading the reviews on Booking.com for our night in Nuwara Eliya, and it was well worth the price. The hotel’s location made it easy to get to the key spots within the city limits, and the road there was in good condition. There was plenty of parking too. Our double room was spacious and very clean, with the essentials, including tea making facilities. The bathroom was spotless and the hot water reliable. Staff were friendly and professional, with excellent service. Great value for money, and I confidently recommend it to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya.
