It’s very close to the bus station, 300 m or less, which was great. I arrived without a booking, got the same price as on booking, and could pay by card. The room was spacious and good, with tea, coffee, a boiler, and a clean bathroom with toiletries. The room didn’t face the main street, so it was quiet at night, though the shoe shop downstairs played loud music until 8 pm. The one thing I found disgusting was the rug: it was dusty and dirty, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. For the price, it should be clean enough to walk on barefoot.

Huddle Nuwara Eliya was a great place to relax while enjoying Nuwara Eliya. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

This was the worst place I’ve stayed, and I can’t recommend it. It was filthy, with dust everywhere in the room and glass windows that looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned for years. The staff don’t know how to clean: the toilets were extremely dirty, the bathrooms hadn’t been washed properly, and the blankets, pillowcases, and sheets didn’t seem properly washed. They looked like they’d been used by someone else, and there was dust built up in the blankets. We told staff there was women’s hair all over the bed, but they did nothing. Mornings were noisy, with lots of sounds, loud music from people, and vehicle noise mixed with music from shops. It made for a very unpleasant environment.

The place is run down and noisy because of the location. We had to change rooms because the bed sheet was dirty. The carpet seemed never to have been cleaned, so I only walked around in my shoes. The bathroom was only fit for the necessary, and I cleaned the nightstand myself. The tissue I used came away black. This is the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed in, see pictures. How can this filthy place have 4,3 stars on Google? These reviews made me lose trust in Google reviews. You get what you pay for, but we’ve stayed in similar places that were clean. With a deep clean and proper maintenance, this could be good value for money.
