The rooms are basic but comfortable, and the bathrooms are okay. For a shower, though, you have to stand in the bathtub. It’s a lovely, all-wooden villa with a colonial feel. The manager was very helpful and lit the fireplace for us because it was so cold.

The manager, Shakib, was incredibly attentive and helpful. The place was perfectly comfortable, if a little worn, and breakfast could use some work. I’d happily come back.

The service was excellent, and the building’s old, 1930s England feel is part of its charm, even though it needs some attention. Breakfast is served next door, hotel-buffet style, and was a bit rubbish. The bed sheets didn’t fit, so we ended up sleeping on the bare mattress. During the storm, water leaked through the ceiling into the bathroom. We were in room 101!!

Even off season, we had the best time here. Sydney the maneuver was lovely and attentive, always greeting us with a smile. The rooms were clean and the food was great. Such a lovely place, and it definitely made us want to come back!
