The breeze coming off the sea made the villa feel especially peaceful and fresh. This was my second visit to Rakuen Beach Villa, and we were there again for my mother’s birthday. The food was delicious, Chathura was incredibly helpful as caretaker, and the owner was friendly and supportive. We had a fantastic holiday and can't wait to come back.

The caretaker cooked delicious Sri Lankan food, and we could watch lovely sunsets over the ocean from the deck. The beach was beautiful, quiet, and good for swimming, while the view was amazing. The villa itself was gorgeous, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. There is a road behind the house and train tracks nearby, but after a while the noise fades into the background because everything else is so good.

The villa keeper was incredibly supportive, and the Indian Ocean views made my stay at Rakeun Villa wonderfully relaxing. Every so often, though, noise from the nearby train and street was a downside.

There was plenty of room and privacy for a peaceful family getaway at Rakuen Beach Villa. I had a wonderful weekend there, with a picturesque ocean view, and the service and food were fantastic. It's a lovely place to relax and enjoy.

The big park had monkeys, lizards, and peacocks, and the pool was fantastic. The location is near the beach but away from the crowds, with Unawatuna beaches just 5-10 minutes away by tuk-tuk. Staff were friendly and helpful, the service was great, and there was a restaurant and drinks onsite. Highly recommended.
