The breakfast was the real highlight for us, absolutely amazing, fresh, delicious, and made with care. The hostel is central but still peaceful and surrounded by nature, so it felt like an escape while staying close to what we needed. The owner is a lovely, caring woman who was always smiling and made sure we were comfortable from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay here.
We had dinner here, and the food was the best we'd eaten in Sri Lanka, especially the Dahl. We stayed four fantastic nights. The hosts were warm, friendly, and flexible, even making breakfast whenever we asked so we could eat after our early climb up Lion Rock. Great location, and I'd highly recommend this home stay.
The breakfasts were huge, and I especially loved them. My husband and I were very happy with our stay, thanks to the welcoming and friendly hosts. The location is great too, with Lion Rock about a 20-minute walk away. Don't expect too much from the accommodation and you'll be fine.
