I only stayed one night, though I’d planned to stay longer. The manager wanted about 14 USD more than the amount confirmed in my booking.com confirmation, and we also had difficulty communicating. The room was far too expensive for its quality, so I left. The hotel and room felt run down, and I don’t understand the positive reviews. These photos were taken on 24.12.2025 and show what to expect.

The room was basic and unattractive, and asking 100 USD for it is a joke. When we arrived, we were given a fan-only room even though we’d called beforehand and were told it had air conditioning. Wi-Fi had also been promised, but it didn’t work in the room. Cancelling took a long time, and the staff member seemed unsure how to handle it. Another guest checking out was treated rudely too. Then a man arrived on a moped, possibly the owner or manager, accused that guest of stealing an AC remote, threatened to call the police, and demanded to search his bag. Completely unacceptable. This hotel feels like a scam. Do not stay here.

The rooms are decent for the price, clean, and among the cheapest around mirrisa at this price. Harish Chandran is very friendly and always ready to help, but make sure you communicate properly. Regular rooms are around 10-12 $, while AC rooms are 17-20$ and very limited, depending on the season. Turtle beach and coconut hill are very close. The bus stop is nearby too, so it’s easy to travel around the south or north.

One of the cheapest guesthouses, but the rooms were still nice and clean, and the staff were welcoming. They let me keep my food in their fridge and were always happy to help.
