Hotel Glee can also handle big celebrations, not just a regular stay. We attended an event there, and it has space and a setup for 200 or more guests. For our visit, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location made everything easy. The beach is within walking distance, with popular restaurants and cafés nearby. It’s a convenient, welcoming place for a holiday or an event in Trincomalee, and we’d gladly stay again.

The beach is nearby, but the hotel itself felt odd. It has a somewhat luxurious look, while the upkeep and service are very basic. There weren’t enough towels or sheets, no soap, and the rooms felt cold. There was no warm water, and breakfast was minimal, especially the coffee.

Uppuvali beach is just around the corner, and there are several restaurants nearby. The staff at hotel glee were very friendly during my stay. I also went to a function in their wedding hall, and the staff helped the whole ceremony run smoothly. I’d gladly return.

The rooms with two or three double beds feel a bit cramped, with little space. There are air-conditioned rooms that can accommodate a group of more than 45, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Near Trincomalee town, the place has good sanitary facilities and hot water. There’s also a spacious ground-floor reception hall that holds about 100 guests.

The location was handy, close to the beach, shops, and a bank, and the price was economical. My room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. A place I’d recommend.
