Chira and Gaya were such lovely owners, always checking that our stay was going well. The place is tucked into the jungle and feels like a beautiful hidden paradise. We saw lots of lovely birds, maybe a lizard, and if you're lucky, monkeys swinging through the trees. Breakfast was amazing, especially the omelettes, which I'll miss! Probably the friendliest and most hospitable owners of any place we stayed at in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended, book it now.

Waking up to the sounds of nature was lovely, and our son could have spent the whole day in the swimming pool. We also saw monkeys swinging through the trees several times, and a peacock stopped by once to say hello. Green Hill Paradise was a peaceful, beautiful place to recover from jet lag after our long journey and ease into our Sri Lanka holiday. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere calm and beautiful.

The breakfasts deserve a special thank you. They were delicious, filling, and made with love, like visiting your grandmother. The room was clean and cozy, with that lovely woodsy, comfortable smell. The whole hotel has a welcoming feel, with a smile when you arrive as if you're an old friend. A peaceful place with homey comfort. Thanks so much for a perfect stay!

The place is authentic and so well looked after, with delicious breakfasts that made us feel at home and well cared for.
