Resting here was great, five stars from me. The spot in Unawatuna is hard to beat. Big thanks to Bandula for being so kind and welcoming, and Anti did a great job with the laundry.

The staff were friendly, and our room was clean and simple. We paid 2500 for one night, but for that price I think you could find somewhere better. We’d only booked a night because it was already well over our budget, and the hot shower wasn’t working. We came here after other travellers recommended it.

It’s peaceful on one side and close to the sea on the other. Good rooms, and the apartment was good too.

The location was nice, but the room was dirty, with stained sheets. The owner’s things were left all over our balcony, and breakfast was really western.
