The old colonial feel was lovely, and I liked the spacious room, good facilities, garden, and really tasty breakfast. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s close to the beach, with plenty of places to go nearby. I also enjoyed the yoga class in the dome. And I can highly recommend a session with Dr. Shawn. His approach is quite different from other massages I’ve had. He knows which spots need attention, and I felt super well afterward. He also gave me some really good advice.

I haven’t had a massage at this place, but Shawn visits us in the South and I can highly recommend him. A massage from a physiotherapist can be life changing. He knows what to advise and what to focus on, and each massage leaves you relaxed and feeling healed. I’m so grateful to know Shawn. The best physio in Sri Lanka!

I’ve tried several yoga classes and really enjoyed them. Every session was useful in its own way, and the different tutors and changing sessions gave us lots of variety. It’s a unique experience, especially if you’re just starting yoga. Take mosquito spray if you go to an evening class. You don't need it in the morning.

I went to Secret Garden Villa for a treatment with Dr. Shawn Roche, and it was a great experience. He’s very knowledgeable, but also kind and attentive. He helped me release energy and emotions that had felt stuck deep inside for a long time. The treatment was very painful, yet incredibly effective. I was leaving the country the next day, so I couldn't do more sessions then. On my next visit, I'll definitely book several. Highly recommended!
