Savenrose Beach Villa

We were so sad to leave. The whole stay felt effortless, and when we needed to go to another city, they arranged a tuk-tuk for us. Check-in and check-out were both smooth, and extending our stay and checking out late was no problem at all. Ajit Kaka made the experience so special. He was caring and quick to respond, even bringing hot water late at night and heating the vegetarian food I'd brought from home. We were hoping to see turtles hatch, and when it happened nearby, he came upstairs and knocked on our door to tell us because he knew how much we wanted to see it. That meant a lot. We'd booked a room without a sea view, but after seeing the ocean right in front of the property, we asked Ajit Kaka if we could switch. One opened up, and he kindly moved us the next day. We spent our last two nights in the sea view room, and it was magical. Our time at Saven rose (Madiha) was honestly the most memorable part of our Sri Lanka trip. It was a wholesome stay full of warmth and care, and we'll always remember it.

Everything was clean and in great condition, and the staff took such good care of us. Savenrose Beach Villa is in a perfect spot, with ocean views and lots of good restaurants right nearby. Such a great stay, we'll definitely be back!

The garden was beautifully kept, and the shared living and dining area was spacious and comfortable. Though a road separates the hotel from the sea, the top floor rooms have a lovely sea view, and the small beach is about a minute away on foot. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even arranging a vehicle to make our travel easier. We booked three rooms for one night, a Deluxe Double Room with a sea view, a Double Room with a garden view, and a Large Twin Room. Booking by phone was simple: we paid in advance and promptly received room details and photos via WhatsApp. We were warmly welcomed on arrival, settled the remaining payment, and the staff kindly set up the dining area when we brought our own food. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and had AC. The beds, sheets and towels were clean too. Bathrooms were tidy with hot and cold water, good pressure, soap and shampoo, though there was no hot water at night. We did miss some basic items in the rooms, including cups, glasses, a kettle and tea bags. There's no food menu, but the hotel offered to cook meals on request. We enjoyed their tea and coffee, which cost 200 LKR per cup. There are lots of nearby restaurants, though UberEats and PickMe Foods weren't available in the area as of January 2025. It was a pleasant night at this calm, cozy hotel in Madiha, and good value for money. There are a few small things that could be improved, but the clean rooms, welcoming staff and peaceful feel made it a nice place to stay. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely garden and sea view from our room, which made the stay feel so peaceful. The Savenrose Villa is clean, with comfortable beds and a great shower, and the service is fantastic. Staff are extremely friendly. You can snorkel with sea turtles right at the doorstep, and there are delightful restaurants nearby. Highly recommend for a serene, memorable stay!
