The ocean view through the big window and coconut palms was beautiful, though the beach isn't suitable for swimming because of the strong waves and sharp rocks. We had a great stay here after landing at Colombo airport, about 35 minutes away. The place feels new, modern, and clean, and Sapna and her father were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious: continental on the first morning, then Sri Lankan the next after we asked. For dinner, there's a seafood restaurant about 15 minutes north along the beach. We also found bananas at a little shop on the main road, and a tuk-tuk ride of about 10-12 minutes takes you to a livelier area. My girlfriend and I had a really good experience.

The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious, and the hosts shared useful local tips and helped us plan our trip. We felt welcome straight away with this lovely family, who were friendly, considerate, and helpful throughout. Our room was roomy, modern, clean, and thoughtfully laid out, with hot water, air conditioning, WiFi, good lighting, and little extras like tea and shampoo choices. The palm garden and ocean were right outside the window. It’s a peaceful area for beach walks and sunsets, but not swimming. Bigger shops and places to eat are 10-15 minutes away by ride. We first tried walking, which was a bit naive, and the hosts offered to arrange a ride to a good place for food. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We felt at home from the moment we arrived, thanks to the caring host family. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with direct access to the beach and wonderful ocean views. This was the best guesthouse stay of our Sri Lanka holiday. We’d happily return if we come back to Sri Lanka, and would recommend it for a stay in Negombo. Thanks from all of us.

The owners live close by and were helpful whenever we needed them. It's right by the beach, with a lovely ocean view and a nice sea breeze. Very clean and quiet, and good value for the money.
