We’ve been visiting Audenis for two decades, and it used to be our regular spot in Birštonas. The beef salad and potato pancakes were always top quality. Yesterday we ordered two beef salads, but the beef was so tough we could barely eat it. We sent them back thinking it had been overcooked, but the replacements were just as tough. Meanwhile, the salad price has risen by 40-50% and the beef quality has dropped significantly. It’s really sad, but I don’t think we’ll be coming back 😕. This is about the restaurant only.

The family rooms were a good size and comfortable, with balconies, and we found everything very good value. We enjoyed the café food at both breakfast and dinner, especially the great Italian wines, and the staff were friendly. We had a great family stay and will definitely return.

In July, I got a vegetable omelette made with frozen vegetables, and it was absolutely drenched in oil on top of that. You’ve got to be kidding :} I wouldn’t return even if it were the only café in Birštonas.

We only came for a meal. The food was tasty and the portions weren’t small. The dining room felt a bit too small when it was full, but otherwise it was okay.

We got lucky with an Italian chef who was making fantastic pizzas. It’s a simple motel, and the food is quite good.
