I booked four nights, but an unexpected work emergency meant I had to cancel my trip to Lithuania. The booking was non-refundable, and I understand a refund may not always be possible. I contacted the property almost three weeks before arrival to explain and ask about options, but the owner ignored several messages from me and questions from Booking.com support. There was no reply or explanation, and no effort to discuss it. That lack of communication is the most disappointing part. Responding to a guest is basic professional courtesy, even when a refund can’t be offered. Future guests should know about this experience before booking. I wouldn’t recommend the property.

It’s about a 10-minute walk from the bus station, with a supermarket and market close by. The place is very clean and just outside the old city wall.

The location is very good, and the house has good amenities, but the landlord was not helpful at all. He doesn’t speak any English and didn’t know how to use translation tools. I sent my problems in his own language, but got no reply and he did nothing to fix them. He wasn’t polite either. There’s a road beside the room’s window, and the manhole cover rattles whenever a car passes. The upstairs neighbor moved furniture even at 2 AM. There were hairs on the pillow; I sent a photo and didn’t even get an apology. The landlord only came to the door to collect the money, without bringing a clean pillowcase. The bathroom sink was dirty too.

I stay here often when I’m in Vilnius, and it’s always cozy, clean, and pleasant, like home. All the apartments are in the city center, so local sights are easy to reach. Great apartments and a great host. Thank you, Vadim, for the excellent service.
