B&B De Boerderij

We had a very nice stay and are already looking forward to returning. The room was spacious, breakfast delicious, and both hosts were friendly and helpful. There was enough space for our car in their private parking lot.

We had a great experience here. The room was clean and spacious, the Dutch owner very friendly, and breakfast was good. It’s also well located for getting to nearby hiking routes.

The owners were friendly, and our car was safely parked on their property. Trail 2 starts just around the corner, along with route B2 and plenty of other lovely routes. The bus stop is roughly a 10-minute walk, with a supermarket nearby, and Berdorf has some excellent places to eat and drink. I stayed five nights in this simple guesthouse, which had what I needed: quiet, cleanliness, blackout windows, and fresh towels and washcloths every day. Breakfast was fine, with a hard-boiled egg daily, rolls and sandwiches, and lots of toppings including cucumber and tomato. There was often an extra treat too, like fruit or cake. The biggest and tastiest surprise was two pancakes and four half figs one morning. I could keep food and drinks cool in an electric cool box. Highly recommended!

The de Boer family are so warm and attentive, and breakfast was generous. My room was large, very clean, and had everything I needed. It’s quiet and makes a great base for hiking. Highly recommended!
