The staff were polite, though service was pretty minimal. The rooms had the basics and were clean enough, but felt dated and could use some modern touches. Motel Akva is a practical, budget-friendly option for travelers passing through Jelgava or making a short stop. I wouldn’t find it the most comfortable choice for a longer stay, but it does the job if you just need somewhere to rest.

The bed was very comfortable, and the motel is in a quiet spot right by the river. The price is really attractive. Staff were friendly and helpful, and speaking English was no problem. I’d recommend it for a rest after a trip and a chance to recharge before the next journey.

I’d read some mixed reviews on Google and wasn’t sure what to expect, but we had no issues at all. We checked in around 22:00 without trouble, the place was clean, and the owners were nice.

It’s so cheap, and you can use the kitchen to cook whatever you want. I recommend this hotel to tourists like me.

The bed was nice and comfortable, but the bathrooms are small. The staff didn’t seem very professional, and the TV only has garbage on it. It’s cheap as hell, though.
