There were blood stains on the mirror and missing tiles. If someone had checked the bed, they would have found bed bugs, I bet, because I’m bitten all over my body.

I felt safe and everything worked well during my stay in this hostel. The rooms are nice and clean, and it’s easy to figure out how to get inside. There are locks on every door. You might also meet people in the kitchen, which is fun since everyone is so nice.

There’s nobody around for check-in, check-out, or other problems, but the place worked perfectly for me. My room was for two and everything was clean. It had a hairdryer, an iron, and a small kitchen, and they provide a towel. Getting up to the fourth floor could be tiring if you’re carrying heavy luggage.

Orange Cat Rooms is a good choice, right in the city center and about ten minutes from the bus station.

I first stayed here with friends in 2018 and remembered it for later bookings because it was clean, well located, and great value for the money. Then in February 2023, my plans changed after I’d made a non-refundable booking. I asked if they could help, and they agreed right away and refunded me. I really appreciate that kind of customer service, and I’d definitely recommend staying here in Riga.
