aparthotel Amella

We stayed in the Family Deluxe Suite with our children and teens, and I’d definitely recommend it for families. It was spacious and well equipped, with quality materials throughout. The hotel has been nicely renovated and feels close to luxury for an apartment hotel in its class. Staff were quick and very friendly. The Old Town is about a 10-minute walk, and tram and bus stops are close by.

Getting around was easy from Aparthotel Amella: the Central Market, central bus and train station, and Origo shopping center are all a short walk away. The Old Town takes longer, but you can still walk there. Staff were efficient and pleasant. Our superior double room was stylish, comfortable, and exceptionally clean, with a kitchenette and washing machine. QR codes linking to appliance instructions were a thoughtful extra. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return.

Good value, with spacious rooms, decent amenities, and everything clean. There’s a mall nearby with lots of shops, restaurants, and a large supermarket where you can find almost anything. The center is a bit of a walk, but manageable. The young staff were really nice. One older man at the counter, though, was rude and judgmental, and made the interaction awkward. That’s why I’m taking off a star. Still recommended.

I stayed here in December and found it very good value for the quality. It’s close to the central station, and you can walk into the center. The rooms have the basic kitchen items you need, such as cups, glasses, and plates, and there’s a working reception. Breakfast was very good, but it’s ordered in advance from a local cafeteria and delivered in boxes to reception for you to eat in your room. Check with reception if you need breakfast at 7 AM before an early checkout. You make coffee yourself in the room. Parking in the hotel’s secured area costs extra; there’s also plenty of free overnight parking nearby, in a yard or on the street, where paid parking starts at 8 AM.
