Dodo Hotel

The staff were very nice, but I paid almost 60 euros a night for outdated rooms with no AC or ceiling fan. There's no elevator, and even the bathroom didn't have regular toilet paper. It felt like using a public bathroom. You can hear everything, including people snoring in other rooms.

The soundproofing is so bad you can hear people in other rooms word for word. And within ten minutes of arriving, someone walked into our room while my husband was in bed and I was showering. Apparently reception had given another guest a key card for our room number. The room looked decent, and the towels and bedding were clean and fresh. There was an unpleasant smell when we arrived, even with the window already open, and it never really went away. Still, it's good enough for a budget stay.

I couldn't sleep at all because there was no soundproofing. I could hear people talking, breathing, drawing their curtains and even "clapping." The bathroom smelled horrendous from whatever chemical cleaner they used. I booked two nights and left after the first.

The rooms are small, though clean, with fresh sheets and towels. There's no teapot or water in the room. The doors are flimsy and bang noisily whenever someone walks past. You can hear everything people say or do in the corridor, so sound protection is very poor. The location works for spending the night, but isn't good for getting around on foot.
