The room was older, but clean, and the price wasn't bad. The bathroom had a strange smell and there was no hot water, which lowered my rating. The lady running the place was lovely, and the location was excellent, an easy walk to the Old Town and the bus and train stations.

We found bed bugs. When we tried to tell her and get our money back, she got really angry and refused to refund us. Then she told us to leave!!! DO NOT GO!!!!

We couldn't even spend the night. After finding bedbugs, we had to leave in a hurry, hoping we hadn't taken any with us. The managers wouldn't talk to us or answer calls, then tried in every way to persuade us not to leave a bad review. They blame the French, but reviews say the bedbugs have been there for three years. The parking is very expensive, the entrance is very narrow, and there's a constant smell of excrement. A terrible place. We don't recommend it to anyone.

We were very pleased with our stay. We booked from Italy and arrived late at night, but a friendly hostess welcomed us and showed us how everything worked. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed linens were clean too. My wife and I will definitely book this hotel again next time we're in Riga. Thank you for the hospitality and warm welcome.

The room was a little dated but clean, good for anyone who isn't fussy. You enter through the courtyard and find the door at the far end, with flowers and plants in front. An elderly couple was there, and the woman explained everything very clearly.
