It is just a 20 minute walk or 10 minute drive to the famous and beautiful Old Town. Bars and restaurants are also within easy reach. RIGAAPARTMENT SONADA is located in a fully renovated historic building which features apartments that have high ceilings, are ergonomic and practical in design and contain modern furniture and equipment. There are 16 fully self-contained apartments and 6 double rooms with everything you might need during your stay. For your convenience there is a secure private parking in the grounds of the building. We offer a luggage room and an airport transfer service to and from RIX airport with a journey time of around 20 minutes. The Riga Central Railway or Bus station is no more than 5 minutes away by taxi.

The room felt dark, shut in, and claustrophobic. They call the apartments “semi-basement,” but they're fully underground, with even the top of the window below ground level. The small windows face a wall, so there's no view and barely any reflected light. There were constant strong smells from the neighboring kitchen and cleaning room. The sofa was tiny and wouldn't open properly, so it wasn't useful as an extra bed. When we asked to move because of these issues, the staff asked for another €30 instead of trying to help. It felt like they were taking advantage of our discomfort. For what they charge, Riga has much better options with proper rooms, daylight, and basic comfort. This was one of the worst stays we've had, and I strongly advise others not to book here.

The flat was spacious and very comfortable, especially the bed, and everything looked new and was extremely clean. I really liked how quickly the excellent heating system warmed the rooms. The reception staff were kind and friendly, and the location is good, close to the bus station. The price was good too. I definitely recommend it.

The room was spacious and nice, with all the amenities we needed for a good stay. The apartment hotel is near two bus stops and not too far from Riga city center. We were surprised and disappointed, though, by the lack of cleaning and room service. For six days, two of us got one tiny bottle of shower gel, nobody replenished the toilet paper, and our towels weren't changed. That should have been taken care of during a stay that long.

LP (8/6 - 8/12/25): The studio I rented was cozy and felt like home. Nights were quiet, though doors were slamming during the day. There was no lift down to the studio, but that was okay. The milk was half empty and had expired on 5/21/2025, the shower curtain rod holder was broken, and the shampoo and conditioner were empty.

The self-check-in was smooth and made things really convenient, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and available whenever I had questions. I also found the building safe and quiet, with fast, reliable Wi-Fi. It's well located near public transport and not far from the city center. After long days exploring, my clean, modern, comfortable room was just what I needed. I had a wonderful stay at Sonada Riga and would happily return or recommend it to anyone visiting Riga.
