Allegro Agadir

The pizzas were out of this world, and the bar staff were lovely with my daughters, always chatting with them. The food was generally really good, though there could have been more fruit than just bananas, like melon or strawberries. Picky eaters might struggle on some nights, so they should fill up at the pool bar during the day. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the stay was. Our room had been newly decorated and looked great. The big pool was a little cold, but then we went during February half term. The middle pool was heated and lovely. Just be ready for sunbed wars if you plan to stay by the pool all day.

We stayed for 10 days to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday and loved every day of it. The staff were amazing, always helpful and never making anything feel like too much trouble. Our room in block 1 was great and cleaned daily, with the pool and restaurant just a two-minute stroll away. The pool was clean and well cared for, and the restaurant was spotless with plenty to choose from, including lots of salads and freshly made smoothies for anyone wanting healthier food. The animation team were fabulous, always chatting with guests as well as keeping everyone entertained. The hotel’s own beach area was less than a five-minute walk away. We’d definitely return.

The food was amazing, and the pool and facilities were good. The reception staff were really helpful, and some of the cleaners were lovely, though others weren’t. I asked for an iron over two days and never got one. The room size was okay, and the bed was very comfortable, but the room wasn’t very clean. There was mould on the bathroom wall, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the mirror was covered in fingerprints. I also missed having coffee in the room. Since I get up early, I had to wait for the restaurant to open to get a coffee. The bar was good, but the cocktails were cheap and not made properly. My Mojitto was just cordial mixed with a mint leaf. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport. Don’t buy excursions through the hotel, they’re overpriced, and I found better, cheaper options online. I don’t like feeling ripped off. Overall, this is a three-star hotel, not a four-star one.

The hotel was clean and well looked after, and the location is fantastic, just five minutes from the beach. It was pleasant, with good food, but feels more suited to older guests if you’re looking for a lively nightlife or drunken antics.
