We had one of our best stays in Morroco here. The owner was fantastic, and we spent a lot of time talking with him. If you're up for an adventure, you can ask him about that too :) The house is beautiful, renovated among the old ruins, and very clean and well cared for. We learned he worked on it with international people from work away. Such a great project. This is a calm, authentic stay, not a place to book if you're after luxury. In shallah we'll be back. Maybe our next adventure starts here 😍😍

Hisham came to our rescue when we arrived in Tamnougalt very late, and welcomed us warmly. The lodging was cozy, and there was a friendly cat(!). The old site felt magical, and we were impressed by Hisham's work to preserve it. The village is close to Agdz but remarkably peaceful. We also walked through the grove and toured the Kasbah.

The house was dirty and moldy, and it looked nothing like the photos. Service was very bad and the attitude was rude. Terrible place, definitely not recommended.

Hicham welcomed us for the night with such good humor. The house has been beautifully renovated, with two bedrooms upstairs and two separate beds downstairs in an open space that feels like a Moroccan living room. We had a delicious dinner that Hicham cooked himself. A great place to stay in Tamnougalt, highly recommended.
