The reception team were friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is fairly new. The beds and pillows were amazing, and both rooms I stayed in were comfortable. The first room was spotless, cleaned every day, and conveniently close to the lift. The second room didn’t get the same attention. Its soap dispenser was empty when I arrived, and even after I took it off to show it needed refilling, nobody noticed for a few days. I ended up buying my own shower gel. One day my clothes had been left in a pile in the corner. There’s good potential here, though things still seem to be in a learning phase. I hope they become more consistent and attentive to details. Since the hotel is close to CFC, adding laundry service would be useful in the future. I had to switch rooms because I was traveling over the weekend and then returning to Eurostars.

The facilities themselves are fine, but I felt unsafe and intimidated as a woman after a frightening incident today. Following terrible service, I tried to get the receptionist’s name so I could report what had happened. He became very aggressive, grabbed my phone, and threatened me. His behavior was completely out of control, and no staff member stepped in to calm things down. It seemed to me he was afraid of being held accountable. Staff are clearly not properly trained, and this points to a serious failure in management and guest safety. No guest should feel physically threatened just for trying to make a complaint. I strongly advise others against staying here until staff conduct, accountability, and guest safety are addressed. We paid full price and had a horrible stay, yet the hotel didn’t offer a discount or even acknowledge the problems. The room floors were sticky despite being described as clean, the washrooms lacked supplies, and the window latch was broken and never repaired. The elevator was unreliable, and the breakfast cost too much. In winter, our rooms had no heat for more than four days. Each day we were told someone would come fix it, but nobody showed up. Family members staying on several other floors had the same heating problem, and some also had plumbing leaks. The doors didn’t lock properly either. There are too many issues to list.

There weren’t enough towels or basic supplies for three people, only enough for two. We’d paid for a three-bed room, but one of us was left with a small sofa to sleep on. When I asked the young woman at reception why, she was very impolite and rude. The place is extremely noisy, and it’s really far from the central areas. I strongly wouldn’t recommend it as a four-star hotel.
