Radisson Blu Hotel, Casablanca City Center

We’d come back here whenever we’re in Casablanca. It’s right in the centre, so getting to the main sights was easy, and our room was spacious, clean, and pleasant. The staff were friendly and knew how to help, going out of their way when we needed something. Breakfast was really good too, with the dining team making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

My flight to the Middle East was cancelled because of the Iran War, so I no longer needed the final night of my prepaid three-night stay on March 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2026. I asked Radisson Blu Hotel Casablanca City Center at check-in to shorten it to two nights and refund the unused night. They refused, even though I had paid for the more expensive refundable rate before confirming, as shown in the attached photo. Staff told me to seek the money from Expedia, but the refusal was Radisson’s. Other hotels will often let you change a stay at check-in, and I wish this one had been more understanding given the war. I give the hotel the lowest possible rating and think they should be ashamed of this business practice.

The rooftop bar came with a noticeable sewage smell, and we decided against eating at the Japanese restaurant on site because its ratings were low. In our room, old fingerprints were visible on the mirror and the bathroom smelled a little unpleasant. 😖 I wouldn’t consider this a five-star experience.

The breakfast was great, with the buffet plus one included à la carte dish. I had excellent eggs Benedict with salmon one day and a delicious omelette another. Zacaria was especially friendly and helpful at breakfast. The hotel is in the old medina, so take care when crossing the street. We found the staff accommodating and would gladly stay again. It feels like a four-star hotel to me. Our tour put us in a standard corner room for one night, and it was so small that moving around was difficult. Later, we booked a one-bedroom suite ourselves for three nights, and that was much nicer. I also had a fabulous hour-long “traditional massage” at the Calista Spa in the Radisson. I’d had a similar massage in another city that only covered the extremities, scalp, and face, not the upper or lower back, so this time I specified the areas I wanted. My French is limited, so I used Google Translate beforehand to show the masseuse, and she focused on my neck and upper and lower back as requested. The spa services are very popular, so I recommend booking before you arrive.
