Le Médina Essaouira Thalassa Sea & Spa - MGallery Collection

We’re finding it hard to leave the city and the hotel, it felt that much like home. Every team member was warm and courteous, and the experience went beyond what we expected. The food and breakfast, rooms, location, pool, gym, bar, spa and private beach were all outstanding. Huge thanks to the whole hotel team for a stay we’ll remember.

We spent a week here in January, and the modern, spacious rooms were lovely. The staff were always polite and helpful, and made our stay memorable. At reception, Hasna, Nezha and Ayoub were especially friendly and helpful. I’d also recommend the Hammam/Spa treatments, and want to mention Aziza, Nabila and Bouchara from the Spa. Beautiful hotel, fantastic team, and I’d happily recommend it.

The one drawback was the dated amenities, which could use an upgrade, and the Wi-Fi wasn’t reliable. Aside from that, we had a very pleasant stay at Medina Hotel & Spa in Essaouira and would gladly recommend it. The room was more spacious than we expected and comfortable. The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional throughout. Hicham, who served breakfast, deserves a special mention: attentive, warm, and always making sure guests were looked after. His service made mornings a pleasure. The location is excellent for the Medina, beach and main sights, all easy to reach on foot. With some updates and better Wi-Fi, this would be an excellent choice in Essaouira.

A kids club is the one thing missing for an ideal family holiday. Otherwise, this is a very nice Accor property in Essaouira, with a peaceful pool area that gets afternoon sun and comfortable, well-designed rooms that have been freshly renovated. It’s right along the beach with a private area, and the Medina is just a five-minute walk away. For location, it’s hard to ask for much better.
