Fouad, the guardian, was so friendly and made us feel safe and at home. Our host Juliette was wonderfully kind and welcoming, and we loved talking with her. The room was comfortable, beautiful, and thoughtfully decorated. Breakfast on the rooftop was another highlight, delicious food with stunning views over the ocean and the Medina. We had a wonderful three-night stay. The riad is peaceful and relaxing, just right for a visit to the city. We have only good things to say and would happily come back.

The roof terrace is a comfortable place to lounge, with views out over the ocean, and there’s a fire place downstairs that’s great on colder evenings. The riad is in the centre but on a quiet street. Juliette, Fouad, and the whole team were kind and wonderful hosts. They helped us with everything from day trip ideas to surf lessons and taxis, and we felt welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. I can’t recommend this riad enough!

The people are what made Riad Mazal feel special. Everyone was caring, kind, and truly welcoming, and it felt like coming home in the heart of Essaouira. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and full of character. It’s a charming, peaceful riad with a lovely roof terrace and delicious breakfasts. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

The service really stood out. Juliette and Fouad were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, and made this a stay I won’t forget. I had a wonderful time at Riad Mazal Mogador. The Riad was beautiful, and my room was clean and well equipped.
