Across Hôtels & Spa Fès

We were there as part of a mostly white tour group, and I felt watched in the shared areas as an African American traveler. One time I went onto the terrace to take a photo and staff questioned me right away. It gave the place a strange feel. The rooftop pool and its view are nice, though it’s often crowded. There were lots of big tour groups, and the service and room quality were only okay. My mattress was uncomfortable, the bathroom needs updating, and the tub drained poorly. Water pressure and temperature were disappointing too, and I rarely saw staff around. The pool bar was closed for renovations, while people were packed into the area soaking their feet. It works if you just need a bed after a day at the souks. Probably suits tour groups and big families better than solo travelers, couples, or smaller groups.

The buffet breakfast was good, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. There’s a large shopping mall and restaurants nearby, with an ATM across the road.

Friendly staff and clean rooms that were well heated. Breakfast had a good selection, and there’s a bar downstairs where you can catch football if you want.

The staff were consistently polite and pleasant. The rooms and food were great too, really, everything was perfect.
