The cold weather was the one real difficulty during our stay. It was especially chilly at night, and the air conditioning was switched off from the main supply. We don't know exactly why, perhaps to protect the electrical system or reduce consumption. On our last night, we reached an understanding with our host and were no longer cold. We feel lucky we chose DarDalila. We loved the remarkable traditional Moroccan home, renovated so carefully with materials and craftspeople from the Fes region. You can see that work in the details, and in the pride and warmth Geoffrey shows when guests admire the place. We took photos of every corner. The room was spectacular, the sheets very clean, and Mourad kept everything in order and changed the towels when needed. Wifi worked very well. Breakfast was delicious, served in the living room beside a small artisan fountain and relaxing music. Geoffrey also gave us useful ideas for visiting the medina and helped us use the Maps.me app to find our way through its maze of streets. It was easy to find, near the BabZiat gate, with a few good restaurants nearby and no more than 10-15 minutes from the center of the Medina. We'll remember this stay for a long time.

Geoff made the stay feel like visiting a friend away from home. He was warm, helpful, and shared great local tips and referrals, including advice that helped us avoid tourist scams. We felt so welcome and well looked after. Dar Dalila is a beautiful riad in a perfect spot for exploring Fes. We couldn't recommend it more.

Geoffroy and Mourad were so sweet and accommodating while we stayed in Fez. Their home is absolutely beautiful, and they went above and beyond, even doing our laundry. We felt at home. Would 100% recommend staying here in fez!

Geoffroy and Mourad made us feel like guests in their home, not customers. They clearly love this Dar and welcomed us into it. The rooms are fantastic, full of artisanal beauty, and the restoration is phenomenal. Geoffroy encouraged us to enjoy the craftwork rather than treat it like a museum display. On arrival, he offered to make us a city tour with Maps.me. Download the app in advance, you'll need it, and the tour was fantastic. We had to leave before breakfast, so he thoughtfully packed some for us to take along. Moroccan breakfast on the terrace, with special cakes and a good conversation, was something else. The location is convenient for exploring Fez' Medina and getting to the station. I'm still taking in all the hospitality and inspiration, and I'll definitely come back.
